Landscape Clerk Of Works

Our client is seeking a Landscape Clerk of Works to support an 18-month highways project in Scotland The role will focus on monitoring landscape works, ensuring construction activities meet approved designs, specifications and relevant quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and monitor landscape works associated with highways construction projects
• Check that works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and environmental requirements
• Identify defects, non-conformances and areas requiring remedial action
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports and photographic documentation
• Monitor materials, workmanship and progress across the project
• Work closely with contractors, site teams, designers and project managers
• Provide clear updates on landscape quality, compliance and project progress
• Support the resolution of technical and site-based issues

Job Requirements:

• Experience in landscape inspection, landscape supervision or a Clerk of Works position
• Knowledge of landscape construction and maintenance practices within highways or civil engineering projects
• Understanding of relevant drawings, specifications, quality standards and environmental controls
• Ability to identify defects and assess the quality of completed works
• Strong report writing, record keeping and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to site inspections
• Ability to work collaboratively with contractors and wider project teams

• Contract position - Outside IR35
• Location: Perth
• Duration: 18 months
