The Role:

We are seeking two ambitious and creative early-career (1-3 years) Landscape Architects to join our team in Lisbon. This growth is due to the large number of international projects we have ongoing and in the pipeline. These roles will be on an initial 1 year extendable contract, which may be offered as a permanent role after 2 years.

This is a great chance to work with a highly experienced team to further your career. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of landscape projects across various scales, including public spaces, commercial developments, and master planning projects. The role involves assisting with concept development, technical documentation, planting design, and coordination with architects and engineers to deliver innovative and sustainable outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing concept sketches, diagrams, and presentations.
• Contribute to detailed design drawings, planting schedules, and technical documentation.
• Support the preparation of tender and construction packages
• Collaborate with senior landscape architects, architects, and engineers.
• Support coordination with external consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
• Participate in client meetings and design reviews under supervision.
• Assist in reviewing technical documentation for compliance with standards.
• Support site visits and help monitor design implementation.
• Research materials, plants, and construction techniques to support design proposals.
• Stay updated on sustainable landscape design practices.
• Contribute creative ideas to improve design outcomes.
• Develop technical and professional skills through active learning and mentoring.

Who we're seeking:

• Architectural degree
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in landscape design, preferably with exposure to multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative design environment.
• Proficient in spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit is a plus (training can be provided).
• Competency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop).
