Job Description

Climate17 is proud to partner with a dynamic and mission-driven renewable energy company, dedicated to accelerating the development of utility-scale clean energy projects across the United States. With an active project pipeline and ambitious growth plans, they are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Land Administrator Paralegal to join their Legal and Development teams.

  • Position: Land Administrator Paralegal
  • Location: Stuart, Florida (Hybrid - 4 days in office)
Your Opportunity
In this vital position, you will support the Land and Legal functions by maintaining accurate lease and contract records, coordinating across internal teams, and ensuring all land-related agreements are current, compliant, and correctly documented. You will report to the Associate Attorney and collaborate with teams across the organisation to ensure the successful acquisition and development of renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain contract and lease schedules across multiple project sites
  • Track and manage payment obligations, renewals, and terminations
  • Maintain a centralised database for all land agreements and contract exceptions
  • Review and summarise leases/contracts for key terms and obligations
  • Assist with contract preparation, review, and execution in coordination with internal teams
  • Liaise with land agents and development teams to ensure accuracy of land documentation
  • Reconcile security deposits and insurance requirements
  • Support compliance with financial and legal standards
  • Generate regular reports on contract status and lease portfolio
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for contract administration
  • Provide budgeting and financial reporting support to senior leadership
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field
  • 2-5 years' experience in real estate law, title work, or property records
  • Exposure to title insurance, real estate closings, or land documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritise and manage tasks independently in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable summarising complex documents and identifying key risks/opportunities
  • Interest in the renewable energy sector and a collaborative mindset
