Labourer/Banksman - Residential Construction Site

We are currently looking for a Labourer/Banksman to work on a residential construction site in Poole, Dorset. You will predominantly working as a Labourer but will be required to safely guide and direct the Forklift around site when asked to do so.

As the site Labourer you will be responsible for assisting with site clearance, moving materials, cleaning various areas including finished houses for handover and assisting traders where needed.

• You will be comfortable lifting and shifting materials throughout the day.
• If asked you will be happy working on the gate.
• You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.
• You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.

Banksman Role Responsibilities

• Working as a Labourer
• Maintain clear communication with the forklift operator
• Ensure the safety of pedestrians and other workers
• Monitor site traffic and keep access routes clear
• Follow all health & safety procedures and report hazards

Requirements

• Valid Banksman / Traffic Marshal certification (or relevant experience)
• Strong awareness of construction site health & safety
