Roofing LabourerSalary: £28,072 per annum
Contract: Full Time Permanent

Are you a reliable, hardworking individual with experience working within roofing, construction or property maintenance? We are looking for a Roofing Labourer to join a busy Property Maintenance team, supporting qualified roofers with repairs and maintenance across residential properties.

The Role

As a Roofing Labourer, you will work alongside experienced roofers, assisting with day-to-day roofing repairs, maintenance and associated works across occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting roofers with general roofing repairs and maintenance.
• Supporting with pitched and flat roofing works.
• Removing and replacing tiles, slates and roofing materials under supervision.
• Assisting with guttering, fascia and soffit repairs.
• Loading, unloading and moving roofing materials and equipment.
• Preparing work areas and ensuring materials and tools are ready for use.
• Removing waste and keeping sites clean, safe and organised.
• Supporting work on occupied properties, void homes and communal areas.
• Working safely when using ladders, access equipment and working at height.
• Reporting defects and additional repair requirements.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
• Providing a professional service when working around residents and customers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Roofing Labourer, General Labourer or Construction Labourer.
• Experience supporting roofing or property maintenance works would be advantageous.
• Good practical skills and a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working outdoors and at height.
• Good understanding of site Health & Safety.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working within social housing or residential maintenance would be beneficial.
