Labourer

Location: Stormy Down, Porthcawl, CF33
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary
Duration: Until the end of July 2026
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Manpower is recruiting a Labourer on behalf of our client based just outside of Porthcawl. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy site team in a hands on role, supporting the day to day operation of a waste management facility.

The Role

As a Labourer, you will be responsible for supporting site operations and ensuring the facility remains safe, clean and efficient at all times.

Duties will include:

• Receiving food waste deliveries and assisting with vehicle tipping operations
• Power washing equipment and maintaining site cleanliness
• Carrying out general labouring and housekeeping duties across the site
• Supporting waste handling and processing activities
• Working in line with all health and safety procedures
• Assisting the wider team with day to day operational tasks as required

What We're Looking For

• Previous labouring, industrial or site-based experience would be advantageous
• A valid UK driving licence is essential
• Ability to carry out physically demanding work
• Reliable, punctual and hard working attitude
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Awareness of health and safety procedures
• Comfortable working in an environment where there may be strong odours due to the nature of the work
