Requirements

• Accurately completing assigned analytical tests,examinations and procedures
  
• Diligently completing all necessary quality records
  
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment byperforming tasks in an organised and consistent fashion
  
• Performing such other technical duties
  
• Participate in such further training
  
• Adhere to Health and Safety policy
  
• Compliant to the ISO 17025, in relation to the testing,sampling, and calibration tocollect reliable results.
  
• Handling and preparation of chemical-basedreagents/buffers.
  
• Assist in reviewing and developing Standard OperatingProcedures
  
• Ability to direct own work based upon lab priorities anddeadlines
  
• Lysing and cleaning samples
  
• Genotyping
  
• Making management aware of any issue
  

Necessary qualifications/ training/ experience:

• Degree/Diploma in biological Science or Equivalent.
  
• Successful completion of internal induction training, asspecified by the Lab Mangerand described in the relevant training manual
