Laboratory Technician

CK Group are recruiting for a temporary Laboratory Technician, on behalf of a leading multinational producer of household plastic products, on a minimum contract of 3 months, with possibility to go permanent.

This is a full time position, 35.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 3pm, based at their site in Cramlington.

Salary:

Starting from £28,000 per annum (pro-rata for a 3 month contract).

Your main duties will be:

• Carrying out laboratory testing of materials and samples.
• Recording and reporting test results.

Candidate requirements - skills and experience:

• Degree/HND/HNC in Chemistry, Materials Science or a related field.
• Experience working in a laboratory, ideally in polymers.
• Must have a full UK Driving Licence, be able to drive and have access to a car.
