Lab Project Manager - Cork, Ireland - 12 Month Contract

Do you want to work with an exciting company who are an established market leader within their niche field? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lab Project Manager to work on an exciting project in Ireland on an initial 12 month contract. As Lab Project Manager you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a new state of the art facility.

What you'll do:
  • Manage project execution from design (concept, preliminary and detailed), selection and award of design & construction contracts, construction, commissioning & verification, supporting operational readiness, handover to Lab personnel and project close out.
  • Manage the internal client teams and service partners, including A/E firms and construction management providers, in the execution of capital projects.
  • Provide safety leadership on project, working collaboratively with the Global Capital Safety team, ensuring the safety program is embedded and adhered to on all phases of projects.
What you'll need:
  • Proven leadership of laboratory capital projects within the life sciences sector, overseeing all phases from design through construction, commissioning, operational readiness, and handover.
  • Strong capability in team, stakeholder, and contractor management, including establishing governance structures, defining roles, and maintaining effective communication across A/E firms, construction partners, and internal clients.
  • Expertise in project controls, including cost management, scheduling, risk management, forecasting, and adherence to standardized project management processes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership, ensuring safety programs are embedded and followed throughout project execution.
