About the Role
As aSenior Consultant in Business Transformation (L&H), you will play a key role in driving and delivering high-impact transformation initiatives across the L&H value chain. You will lead initiatives end-to-end - from strategic framing through execution and benefitsrealisation- spanning operating models, governance, processes, technology, and ways of working.
You will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, helping turn strategic ambition into tangible change that delivers sustainable business outcomes - not just presentations, but results embedded in theorganisation.

A key part of our L&H transformation agenda is ensuring disciplined execution of strategic priorities across global and market-unit levels, whiledriving improvements acrossthe L&H value chain through responsible, business-led use of digital and AI capabilities.

Deliveryalignment:Partner withL&HBusiness leaders, includingL&HAI Program Lead and Head L&H AI Operating model Transformationto ensure alignment,timelydecisionsand successful deliveryofAI- and digitally-enabled initiatives that move beyond experimentation and embed new capabilities into underwriting, claims, in-force management and operations
Execution excellence:Strengthen project,programmeand portfolio management standards across L&H;ensure strategic initiatives are governed,prioritisedand executed with clear accountability and measurable impact
Cross-functionalcollaboration:Actas a connector between business, market units, governance forums, and Data & Tech teams to ensure alignment and sustained adoption

TheL&H Business Transformation & Initiatives team, part ofL&H Business Advisory, drives change and sustainable performance across the L&H business unit.Weconvert L&H strategy into measurable execution, champion excellence in project,programmeand portfolio delivery. Additionally, we run and enhance central governance processesand enable effective resourceallocation and decision-making.We are a globally distributed, experienced team working across the entire L&H value chain, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
About You
You thrive in complex, international environments and combine strategic thinking with pragmaticexecution. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing stakeholders at all levels. With strong ownership and a structured mindset, you translate ideas into concrete outcomes and measurable impact.You act as a bridge-builder - between strategy and execution, global and local, business and technology.
Requiredexperience
7+ years of experience in management consulting, professional services, or transformation/project leadership within insurance or reinsurance
Proventrack recordof leading complex transformations end-to-end (scope, plan, stakeholders, risks, delivery), including cross-functional teams
Experience delivering AI-related projects (preferred) or closely related digital transformation / advanced analyticsprogrammesis a strong plus
Strong grounding in project and change methodologies (e.g.Agile, Lean, Waterfall, Change Management, Process Engineering)
Proven ability to bridge strategy and execution, including problem structuring, data analysis, process design, and development of decision-ready artefacts
Analytical and financial acumen: comfortable with business cases, benefits tracking, and translating recommendations into measurable outcomes
(Re)insuranceexpertise(L&H)and/or value chain understandinginUnderwriting, ClaimsorOperations(preferred) or alternatively substantial experience insupportingother financial services
Nicetohave
Experience in operating model design and implementation
Experience delivering AI or advanced analytics initiativesin financial services
Lean Six Sigma or process excellence background

For London, the base salary range for this position is between GBP 84,000 and GBP 126'000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
