Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to drive the design, delivery and continuous improvement of our commercial sales training programmes across Europe and Middle East. This role bridges strategic L&D planning and hands-on delivery, ensuring our solution-orientated sales philosophy is Embedded across all commercial teams. You will work closely with senior leadership, country MD's and local L&D champions to deliver impactful training, localise content to regional needs and measure performance improvement. You will also lead and manage a small team of experienced L&D professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial L&D Strategy & Framework
Contribute to and execute the sales-focused L&D strategy, aligning with company objectives and sales philosophy.
Build and manage training roadmaps with clear phases, milestones, and KPIs.
Ensure programmes are scalable, culturally relevant, and aligned with modern learning best practices
Training Delivery & Localisation
Deliver engaging sales training workshops, webinars, and coaching sessions (predominately
Work with local champions to localise training materials as to reflect regional market dynamics, language, and cultural nuances.
Work closely with sales managers and teams to embed training into day-to-day operations.
Content Support & Development
Support the Head of L&D in developing and refining training content, resources, and toolkits.
Act as a feedback loop to inform continuous improvement of training programs based on local team needs and results.
Contribute to the creation of E-learning modules, role-plays, and real-world scenarios aligned with the emagine sales philosophy.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with Country Managers, Sales Leaders, and SMEs to ensure high adoption and engagement.
Identify, develop, and support local L&D champions to cascade learning initiatives.
Act as a trusted partner to leadership, providing insights and recommendations on learning needs.
Performance Tracking & Improvement
Track training effectiveness via feedback, assessments, and performance data.
Report progress to senior leadership with clear metrics on adoption and impact.
Recommend adjustments to improve outcomes and ensure ROI.
Required Qualifications:
Experience
Proven track record in L&D, Sales Enablement, or Training Delivery within a commercial/sales environment.
Experience in staffing, consulting, or recruitment sectors is highly desirable.
Strong background in designing and delivering sales training for diverse audiences.
Skilled in facilitating both virtual and in-person learning.
Familiarity with LMS platforms, authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate), and digital learning methods.
