Job Description
Overview

If there is one thing the tech industry is great at doing, it's buzzwords.

Taking a word or expression mostly used in a non-technical or professional space, and using it to give energy to an otherwise mundane sentence.

Today's focus is on "boutique consultancies".

Not to be confused with the fashion boutiques of Paris, boutique consultancies focus on a technical niche; a team of experts who can come in and solve a problem previously thought unsolvable, and then turn that solution into reality.

And this is what this role is all about, working for one of the UK's leading firms in Kubernetes. They're building out a team at all levels to help navigate the ever-evolving world of cloud and orchestration.

In this role, you'll work with a diverse range of clients, from multinational banks and tech giants to public cloud providers, tackling complex security and operational challenges. Beyond client consulting, there will be opportunities to contribute to internal R&D projects and open-source initiatives, helping shape best practices in the Kubernetes ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Work with a diverse range of clients, from multinational banks and tech giants to public cloud providers, tackling complex security and operational challenges.
  • Contribute to internal R&D projects and open-source initiatives, helping shape best practices in the Kubernetes ecosystem.
  • Play a key role in protecting highly regulated industries like finance, healthcare, and national infrastructure through DevSecOps consulting, zero-trust architecture, or supply chain security.
Qualifications
  • Strong Kubernetes experience (GKE, EKS, or OpenShift).
  • Deep understanding of cloud providers and Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Development skills in Golang, Python, or Java.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and a desire to build secure, hardened systems.
  • Experience with SPIFFE/SPIRE, HashiCorp Vault, and GitOps practices is a plus.
Additional information

The company operates on a remote-first basis, but for those who enjoy in-person collaboration, the London office is always open. This is a unique chance to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team and make a real impact in the world of cloud-native technology. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply and help secure the future of the cloud!
