Contract: Full-time, Long-term Temporary

Teach Now is seeking an ambitious KS2 Teacher for a forward-thinking primary school in Brent.

The school has high expectations for academic progress while recognising the importance of creativity, confidence and wider personal development. You will take responsibility for a KS2 class and work within a collaborative phase team with access to experienced teaching assistants and shared curriculum resources.

This position would suit a teacher who enjoys challenging pupils academically while ensuring lessons remain engaging and inclusive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality KS2 lessons.
  • Develop pupils' writing, reading comprehension and mathematical reasoning.
  • Use assessment to identify gaps and provide appropriate challenge.
  • Prepare pupils for the increasing academic demands of upper KS2.
  • Provide effective support for SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
  • Establish high standards of behaviour and independence.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and wider school activities.
Requirements
  • QTS.
  • Successful experience teaching within KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary National Curriculum.
  • Confident assessment and differentiation skills.
  • High expectations for pupil achievement.
