KS2 Teacher - Full Time - West Parley

About the Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment while delivering the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupils' progress and attainment
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
• Prepare pupils for statutory assessments, including SATs where appropriate
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all pupils

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for delivering engaging and inspiring learning experiences
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and pupil achievement
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning
• Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
