KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant - Lichfield

This full-time role offers the opportunity to work 1:1 with a Key Stage 2 student who requires special educational support. You will play a vital role in their academic and personal development, offering guidance, care, and tailored support to help them thrive.What You'll Be Doing: Provide 1:1 support to a child in Key Stage 2 with special educational needs, assisting them with their learning and development. Work closely with the class teacher to adapt the curriculum and ensure the student can access learning at their level. Support the student with social interaction and emotional development, helping them engage with their peers. Track and report on the student's progress, contributing to their IEPs (Individual Education Plans). What We're Looking For: Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting, particularly in a 1:1 capacity. A patient, understanding, and flexible approach to learning support. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with staff and parents effectively. A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable.
