We are seeking an outstanding Upper KS2 class teacher to join our friendly, hardworking staff team from September. This role is an opportunity to deliver high-quality, engaging teaching and to contribute actively to our school community.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and additional needs.
- Promote excellent behaviour for learning and high expectations across the classroom.
- Provide timely, constructive assessment and feedback that helps pupils to become increasingly independent learners.
- Contribute to curriculum development and help ensure progression across foundation subjects.
- Support wider school life by taking part in extra-curricular activities and whole-school initiatives.
- Contribute to the professional development of colleagues and participate in the school's monitoring and improvement processes.
The role will include working with teaching assistants and, when appropriate, supporting ITT or early career teachers.

- Is a talented Upper Key Stage 2 classroom practitioner with a secure understanding of the National Curriculum and SATs.
- Plans creatively and teaches with energy, high expectations and compassion.

- Uses assessment and data effectively to accelerate pupil progress, particularly for those who need additional support.
