KS1 Teaching Assistant - Lambeth ASAP Start

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young learners? SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Lambeth seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP, with the role running until the end of term and strong potential to continue into the next academic year.

About the role:

• Full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant position
• ASAP start
• Supporting children across Key Stage 1 (Years 1-2)
• Leading and supporting small group intervention sessions
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support
• Contract through to July, with possible extension into September
• Helping to create a nurturing and structured classroom environment
• Backed by a supportive and experienced Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

What you'll need:

• Previous experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within KS1
• Confidence leading or supporting small group intervention sessions
• A nurturing, patient and positive approach to working with young learners
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with teachers and staff
• A proactive and flexible attitude in a busy school environment
