KS1 Teacher Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire Full-Time September 2026 Start Permanent. Preferred.
Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking to inspire young learners during the crucial early years of their education? We are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Daventry that is seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about helping children develop the skills, confidence and enthusiasm needed for lifelong learning.
Role Highlights- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils in developing strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils and encourage individual progress
- Assess, monitor and track pupil achievement, providing clear and constructive feedback
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence, resilience and confidence
- Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support pupil development and wellbeing
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, events and initiatives
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective classroom practice
- A caring, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
- Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills
- Committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply and will receive full support and mentoring
- A full time KS1 Teacher position starting in September 2026
