KS1 Teacher - Full Time - West Parley

About the Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons that support pupil's academic, social, and emotional development. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential while following the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil's progress and attainment
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Support pupil's personal, social, and emotional development
• Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all pupils

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for delivering creative and engaging learning experiences
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and pupil achievement
• A caring, positive, and flexible approach to teaching and learning
• Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
