We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at St Leonards School in St Andrews.

Working with Sodexo, you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to provide excellent food service to pupils, staff, and visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team within a prestigious school environment.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety while supporting the wider catering team. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, ensuring the kitchen and service areas remain clean, organised, and ready for service.

What you'll do:

• Supporting the catering team during food service periods
• Operating and maintaining dishwashing and cleaning equipment
• Cleaning kitchen, wash-up, and food service areas to a high standard
• Assisting with stock movement and storage of deliveries
• Ensuring all health, safety, food hygiene, and COSHH procedures are followed
• Reporting any equipment faults, food safety concerns, or maintenance issues
• Supporting special events and functions when required
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service
