• Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7
• Contract: Term Time Only

About the Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety while supporting the wider catering team. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, ensuring the kitchen and service areas remain clean, organised, and ready for service.

What you'll do

• Supporting the catering team during food service periods
• Operating and maintaining dishwashing and cleaning equipment
• Cleaning kitchen, wash up, and food service areas to a high standard
• Assisting with stock movement and storage of deliveries
• Ensuring all health, safety, food hygiene, and COSHH procedures are followed
• Reporting any equipment faults, food safety concerns, or maintenance issues
• Supporting special events and functions when required
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service

• Can work efficiently in a busy environment
• Have good communication skills and a customer focused approach
• Previous experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided
