Kitchen Porter (Seasonal) Watergate Bay Hotel - Zacry's

This part time seasonal role runs from May to September on a zero hour contract. As a Kitchen Porter you will support the kitchen team by keeping the kitchen tidy, washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and assisting with basic prep and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleaning of all kitchen equipment, utensils, floors, and working surfaces is carried out to satisfactory standards.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and personal hygiene to hotel and legal requirements.
• Remove and replace full refuse bags and swing bins promptly, clearing any spillages.
• Clean the floor area daily and as required by the Head Chef.
• Sweep and clean corridors and passageways throughout the kitchen.
• Wash crockery, cutlery and keep work surfaces clean and tidy.
• Clean all pots in the pot wash area and maintain cleanliness of that area.
• Assist with any preparation required for daily service.
• Maintain an organised, clean and safe workplace for yourself and others.
• Record all waste correctly in the kitchen wastage book following supervisor guidance.
