Kitchen Assistant Bluebell Hill School 17.5 hours per week (Term Time Only)

Working Hours: 17.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, term time only 11:00am - 2:30pm

Salary: £24,796 - £25,185 per annum (pro rata for part time) (pay award pending) (actual salary: £9,878.49 - £10,032.23 per annum)

Location: Blue Bell Hill Primary School, Gordon Road, Thorneywood, Nottingham NG3 2LE

As a Kitchen Assistant, your main duties will be to assist the Chef Supervisor and the existing team with the preparation and serving of school meals and to maintain the cleanliness of the school kitchen and all equipment used.

• Knowledge of good customer care practice.
• Awareness of basic hygiene principles.
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
