Are you an enthusiastic, committed person and passionate about providing nutritious and tasty meals? Then being part of Milton Grange Kitchen team could be the job for you.
As a part of the kitchen team, you will lead the way in providing healthy meals and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. You will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, maintaining a clean kitchen environment and undertaking routine checks. This is a crucial role in ensuring the people that use our service have their dietary and nutritional needs met.
The kitchen team provide meals for people that are accessing reablement in our 37 intermediate care beds and people that attend the day centre for social stimulation.
Responsibilities- Lead the way in providing healthy meals and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
- Assist in meal preparation and undertake routine checks
- Ensure the dietary and nutritional needs of service users are met
- Can organise a varied workload, occasionally working to short deadlines
- Communicate effectively with a range of people
- Work collaboratively as a member of a team
- Have a courteous and respectful approach towards the people that use the service
