Job Description

Searcys are looking for Kitchen Administrator to join the team at 116 Pall Mall. As a Kitchen Administrator you will implement and manage procedures to ensure the successful smooth operation of all back of house catering areas. To identify areas of improvement and instigate practices to develop efficiency and ensuring all practices are in line with health and safety legislation and Searcys policy.

116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London. Originally de-signed by John Nash, the architect behind Marble Arch and Brighton Pavilion. This venue benefits from traditional meeting rooms to glamourous chandelier filled ballrooms.

The Kitchen Administrator role is Monday to Friday and is a great opportunity for someone to join the department.

The kitchen Administrator will Oversee the organisation and cleanliness of all kitchen and back-of-house areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.

Salary:Salary £36,050.00 PA

45 hours contract

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all deliveries (Goods In), checking items against order sheets, recording discrepancies, and distributing stock appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records for food safety, temperature logs, stock levels, and training documentation.
  • Coordinate stock control, including rotation, storage, monthly stocktakes, and updating inventory and pricing records.
  • Process and reconcile invoices, liaising with suppliers and the finance team as needed.
  • Support procurement of kitchen equipment and supplies, managing supplier relationships and maintenance schedules.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist in compliance with all relevant legislation (e.g., HACCP, COSHH).
  • Assist with training coordination, risk assessments, and accident reporting procedures.
  • Attend team meetings and maintain clear communication with chefs, management, and staff.
  • Provide flexible administrative and operational support across all kitchen areas and events, including weekends when required.
  • Be driven by people and delivering the highest quality of service.
  • Exemplary kitchen management practices and being an ambassador for Searcys legacy brand.
  • Support Exec/Head Chef in creatinga professional working environment for the team ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met.
  • Excellent mentoring and communication skills.
  • Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving and excellent understanding of Health and Safety practices.
