Overview

We are supporting a large, multinational manufacturing organisation undergoing a major transformation of its supply chain planning and S&OP capability across Europe.

As part of this programme, they are looking to hire a Kinaxis Solution Architect to play a senior, hands-on role in the design and delivery of Kinaxis RapidResponse solutions supporting integrated business planning.

This is a delivery-focused architecture role with ownership of end-to-end solution design and configuration, working closely with business stakeholders, internal IT, and external delivery partners.

The position is predominantly remote, with only limited travel required for key project phases such as discovery, workshops, and go-lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Kinaxis RapidResponse solutions across S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management.
• Own the end-to-end solution architecture, from requirements gathering and high-level design through to configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Translate business requirements into robust Kinaxis models, including workbooks, measures, control tables, and data structures.
• Act as the senior technical authority on Kinaxis for assigned programmes, providing guidance to Solution Consultants and junior team members.
• Facilitate design workshops with business stakeholders and process owners.
• Define and govern best practices for data modelling, performance optimisation, and solution scalability.
• Oversee integration design and data flows between Kinaxis and upstream/downstream systems (eg SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other ERP platforms).
• Support UAT, cutover, and hypercare phases, ensuring solution stability and user adoption.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal delivery frameworks, templates, and reusable assets.
• Optionally support internal solution design discussions and future roadmap planning.

Required Experience

• 5 years' hands-on experience delivering Kinaxis RapidResponse implementations.
• Proven experience designing and implementing S&OP solutions using Kinaxis.
• Strong end-to-end delivery background across multiple Kinaxis programmes.
• Deep hands-on configuration experience, including:
• Workbook and model build
• Measures and control tables
• Data model and planning logic design
• Scenario management
• Solid understanding of supply chain planning concepts, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimisation, and S&OP.
• Experience integrating Kinaxis with ERP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or similar.
• Comfortable working in a client-side or internal delivery environment and leading technical discussions with senior stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

• Scripting experience within Kinaxis (eg Python or equivalent) is a strong plus.
• Experience with advanced analytics, automation, or custom extensions around Kinaxis.
• Exposure to large-scale or multi-country Kinaxis rollouts.
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial supply chain environments.
• Kinaxis certifications are highly valued, including:

• Author Level 2 or Level 3
• Solution Consultant/Architect
