Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in North Tyneside this September.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, supporting pupils in Years 3-6 and helping them prepare for the next stage of their education.

The Role

• Support teaching and learning within Key Stage 2 classrooms
• Deliver targeted interventions in English and Maths
• Work with pupils individually and in small groups
• Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours
• Support pupils of all abilities, including those requiring additional support

About You

• Previous experience working with primary-aged children
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Positive, reliable and adaptable
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
