About the Role
West Coast Supply Group is seeking a driven and organized Key Account / Sales Assistant to support our commercial team in delivering operational excellence. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals starting their careers in sales, account management, or commercial support within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
You will play a vital role in coordinating administrative tasks, maintaining accurate sales data, supporting client interactions, and ensuring smooth internal processes. This role provides the foundation for growth into more senior commercial roles, with a clear development path.
The role is open to candidates available for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Coordination
- Maintain and organize product, customer, and supplier information
- Prepare and update sales forecast data based on input from Key Account Managers (KAMs) and purchasing
- Share weekly margin updates with sales and supply chain teams
- Coordinate supplier forms and product documentation
- Provide day-to-day support for KAMs
Forecasting & Order Management
- Own the sales forecast process from the commercial side
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in collaboration with internal teams
- Place orders in the OBA system based on KAM input
- Monitor execution and escalate issues when necessary
Client and Supplier Interaction
- Respond to basic inquiries and direct to the appropriate contact as needed
- Support the preparation of materials for client meetings or industry events
General Team Support
- Assist in data collection for market and competitor research
- Help track and organize team projects and initiatives
- Support ongoing improvements to processes and client support efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the company
