Junior SQL Server DBA

Job Title: Junior SQL Server DBA Location: London/hybrid

We have an exciting opportunity with an established organisation for a Junior SQL Server DBA. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to grow and develop their skills further.

For this role you should have advanced skills utilising & manipulating SQL server. You should also have some experience using the Azure platform / with various other ETL tools.

Responsibilities

• Database Management - Managing and maintaining databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Database security - Monitoring and maintaining the security and access of databases.
• Database backup and restores - Checking backups are working correctly and performing ad hoc back up and restores.
• Database deployments including running scripts.

What they are looking for from you

• Strong knowledge of database systems, Microsoft SQL and ETL tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions, preferably Azure.
• Knowledge of maintaining online reporting tools. Power BI.
• PowerShell skills to manage and create task automation.
• Excellent Transact SQL.
