Junior Project Engineer - St. Albans

Location: St. Albans Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm Immediate Start

The company was founded in 1971 and is still a family-run business. Over the years, it has widened its product range to include complete MV / LV packages along with energy management and monitoring systems. They primarily supply to commercial buildings such as banks, universities, BBC, SKY, and Pinewoods. The company has been steadily growing and now seeks a Junior Project Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will learn and develop into the role, spending time in manufacturing departments and providing administrative support to electrical project engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage projects from receipt of contract to installation and commissioning.
2. Handle all commercial and technical aspects of projects.
3. Communicate with clients and their representatives.
4. Attend site meetings with clients and representatives.
5. Coordinate with suppliers regarding electrical component suitability.
6. Collaborate with draughting engineers and the production team.
7. Receive training to independently control projects from start to finish, overseeing all technical and commercial elements.

1. Background in electrical engineering.
2. Electrical qualification.

4. Speed and accuracy in work.
5. Strong attention to detail.
