Junior Merchandiser

Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 per annum plus Hybrid working, bonus potential and healthcare

An innovative, fast-paced online retail business is seeking a commercially driven Merchandise Planner to lead stock strategy across a defined category portfolio. You'll take accountability for availability, stock levels and warehouse capacity, partnering closely with Buying to drive sales performance, margin and customer satisfaction. From owning the OTB process and managing forecasts, to analysing KPIs and leading supplier performance reviews, this is a role with real ownership and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Managing purchase orders and in-season trading performance
• Delivering clear, insight-led reporting with actionable recommendations
• Identifying slow movers and executing effective clearance strategies
• Building strong supplier relationships and overseeing service levels
• Ensuring accurate forecasting and system integrity

We're looking for someone who

• Has experience at Assistant or Junior Merchandiser level
• Is highly analytical and confident working with data
• Brings strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
• Is proficient in Excel and Google Workspace
