Junior Manufacturing Operator

Cutting Edge Music Tech - On Demand Vinyl Records

We are looking for a Junior Manufacturing Operator to work on our on demand vinyl record production line. You will learn to operate machinery, maintain quality, and support our production team on rotating shifts.

Shift Details

• Early Shift: 7 am 3 pm Monday Friday (8 hrs)
• Late Shift: 2 pm 10 pm Monday Friday (8 hrs)
• Night Shift: 9 pm 6 am Monday Thursday, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off

Responsibilities

• Hands on training-operate and maintain production equipment.
• Quality assurance-inspect materials, products and adjust operations to meet standards.
• Problem solving-troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimise downtime.
• Process management-follow manufacturing procedures and record production data.
• Team collaboration-support the team to fulfil orders in a timely manner.
• Inventory & supply management-assist in organising and maintaining materials.
• Career development-gain qualifications and certifications for future advancement.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 (C) or above.
• Strong work ethic from warehouse, retail, hospitality or similar environments.
• Attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Basic problem solving abilities and willingness to ask questions.
• Organisational and time management skills with guidance.
• Clear communication and teamwork in a busy setting.
• Ability to follow processes, work independently, and meet production targets.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks safely.
• Flexibility to work different shifts or occasional weekends when required.

Work Location

This role is onsite in our Elstree office (WD6), five days a week.
