Junior IT Support (Mac)

Robert Half Technology are assisting a leading global AI-powered software and contract management technology organisation to recruit a Junior IT Support (Mac) on a 12-month contract basis, with potential to extend or become permanent. part time, 8am-12pm - 5 days per week (3 days per week on site) Hybrid working - London based. ASAP start.

Role

• The Junior IT Support (Mac) will provide first-line IT support to employees, troubleshooting day-to-day hardware, software and technical issues.

• Support and troubleshoot Mac devices, including macOS-related issues, applications and peripherals.

• Diagnose and resolve basic IT incidents and service requests, escalating more complex issues where necessary.

• Provide support for meeting room technology, video conferencing systems and AV equipment.

• Assist with the setup, configuration and deployment of laptops and other IT equipment.

• Support the IT setup and ongoing operation of a new London office.

• Act as the first point of contact for IT support in London, working closely with the wider global IT team.

• Deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring employees receive timely and effective technical support.

Profile

• The Junior IT Support (Mac) will have some previous experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk, Service Desk or Desktop Support role.

• Basic familiarity with Apple Mac devices and macOS is desirable but not essential.

• Good understanding of general IT troubleshooting, including hardware and software issues.

• Exposure to a corporate IT environment would be advantageous.

• Any experience with meeting room technology, video conferencing or AV equipment would be beneficial.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

• Ability to work independently and escalate technical issues when required.

• Reliable, proactive and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

• Immediately available or available at short notice for a November start.
