Junior Finance & Tax Specialist

ASUS is looking for a Junior Finance & Tax Specialist who has bookkeeping or auditing experience. Experience of European indirect tax regulations is a plus. Job Responsibilities

• Monthly and Annual Financial Closing: Responsible for the monthly and annual financial closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements. Prepare and submit the required financial and accounting information for the Headquarters on a monthly basis. Generate internal analysis reports for management review.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Review and post all AP-related expenses and invoices
• Accounts Receivable (AR) and Credit Notes (CN): Manage AR and CN postings and collections, ensuring these tasks are handled separately from settlement activities with Sales Administration(SA)
• VAT Filing: Prepare all necessary documentation for monthly and annual VAT (NL OSS and other EU countries) filings
• Reconciliation: Reconcile EBS(Oracle) reports with Magento sales reports to ensure data accuracy
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and requirements

Qualifications and background

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Proven experience in financial reporting, AP/AR management, and tax compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• 2 or more years of experience in accounting and tax is highly preferred
