As a Junior EVS Operator, you'll play a key role in shaping what viewers see-capturing, creating and delivering replays and highlights in real time across some of the most exciting live sports and entertainment broadcasts.

The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Junior EVS Operator, working onsite as part of the NEP Ireland Team
As a key member of the production team, you will prepare and execute immediate replays for various broadcasts from sport to live entertainment, working as part of a high performing team in a highly collaborative environment.
You will need to be a clear and confident communicator, able to adapt quickly to on air changes & remain calm under pressure. Your aim will be to ensure a quality visual presentation that informs and inspires viewers and audiences from all around the world.
The position may require international travel on occasion.
Responsibilities- Using EVS to record, edit, clip and play from multiple live external feeds and turning the footage (inserts, arrivals and colour flexible in duration) around under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Create and edit highlights / analysis packages using stored EVS clips and playlist functions.
- Have a knowledge of keywords and the ability to apply them to clips.
- Developing relationships with freelancers and technical support from suppliers.
- Working with the broader team to maintain the highest standard of service across equipment and support.
- Understand and comply with new and existing customer processes and policies.
- Health & Safety - wear appropriate PPE and have an awareness of H&S whilst on location and base adhering to best practices.
- Work with colleagues towards a common goal; thank and encourage staff as appropriate, foster a One Team.
- Experience in the EVS workflow
- Prior experience working with broadcast technology desirable.
- Understanding of outside broadcast / remote broadcast / studio operations
- An awareness of Health & Safety.
- Developing communication and client facing skills.
- Good time management skills and ability to work to very tight deadlines.
- Logical thought processes; ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to use initiative; meticulous attention to detail; pro active and self motivated.
- Must be willing to travel internationally.
