Junior Estimator

Rockwell is currently in a phase of significant growth in Ireland and because of this, we are currently looking for a Junior Estimator to be based in our office in Co. Cork.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Estimate on projects of all sizes, from small to large, across a variety of industries.
• You will be involved in the full tender process from beginning to completion alongside our Senior Estimator.
• Liaise with relevant parties on an on-going basis.
• You will work closely with various team members including Directors and Project Managers on bid prospects.
• Attend pre and post tender interviews.
• Assemble sub-contract quotes while ensuring they comply with the spec.
• Complete take-offs from tender drawings.
• Project Reporting and Monthly Claim Management

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience

• 1+ years of experience in an estimating role.
• Degree Qualification or trade background in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working on Pharmaceutical projects is advantageous, demonstrating your understanding of industry best practices and technologies.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office systems required.
• Experience using estimating software such as Total Estimating or similar will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development.
