Location: London (3 days office/2 days home)
Salary: £30,000

A growing building services consultancy is looking for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to support their London-based design team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the early stage of their career who is looking to develop within a supportive consultancy environment.

The Role

You will assist in producing electrical designs and supporting senior engineers across residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical building services design work

• Support production of drawings using CAD software

• Carry out basic lighting calculations using Dialux or Relux

• Assist with preparation of technical documentation

• Support compliance with British Standards and UK regulations

• Attend internal design meetings and assist senior engineers

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD preferred)

• Familiarity with Dialux or Relux

• Understanding of the 18th Edition (BS 7671)

• Basic understanding of Fire Alarm Design Systems

• Relevant qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or working towards)

• Strong willingness to learn and develop
