Junior Dev Ops Engineer

As our new Junior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting our cloud-based services. Based in a secure and fast-paced environment, you'll enjoy a varied workload with exposure to the latest technologies. You'll also have the chance to work directly with users of our cloud platform, gaining valuable insight and practical experience from day one.

What you'll be doing:

• Monitoring and maintaining the health of our cloud platform.
• Investigating and resolving technical issues to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Carrying out routine tasks such as software updates and system checks.
• Working alongside engineers to improve automation and service reliability.
• Contributing ideas to enhance our tools, processes, and customer experience.

What you'll bring:

• Experience of providing technical support (ideally within an ITIL framework).
• Working with virtualisation tools (e.g, VMware).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (on-prem or public).
• Basic Windows and/or Linux administration.
• Editing web content (HTML).
• Using Excel or similar tools for basic data analysis.
• Familiarity with a scripting or programming language.

Location:Hybrid working, based onsite at either our Salisbury or Portsmouth 2/3 days per week.
Security Clearance Level:Eligible for SC clearance, with a willingness to progress to DV.
