Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and talented Junior Denim Designer to join our dynamic design team. This remote position is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual passionate about denim design, trends, and innovation. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our design and production teams to contribute to the creation of cutting-edge denim products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in researching and analyzing current denim trends, washes, finishes, and techniques to develop innovative design concepts.
• Support the design team in conceptualizing and creating denim collections that align with market trends and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, merchandising, and production to ensure design concepts are translated into feasible products.
• Create detailed design sketches, tech packs, and specifications for denim products using design software and tools.
• Participate in sample reviews, fittings, and provide feedback to ensure design integrity and quality standards are met.
• Stay updated on industry developments, attend trade shows, and conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in denim design
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
• Strong understanding of denim fabric, washes, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Creative flair, attention to detail, and a passion for denim design and fashion trends.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with denim manufacturing processes or knowledge of vertical integration in the denim industry.
• Knowledge of sustainable practices and their application within denim design and production.
