Junior Buyer Ladies Footwear

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a junior buyer to join a statement-led footwear brand. The brands concept is catwalk-inspired, trend-responsive and statement-led. Their vision is to always make the shoe a central part of the outfit. They're edgy, contemporary and confident.

This is a product development role, to work on the brands own-branded product. Experience in footwear is highly desirable.
The junior buyer will manage their own category and trade the department. They will oversee trend forecasting, product development, fit sessions, fabric sign-offs and supplier negotiation.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing and suppliers to ensure product launches are met. You will have experience managing a buying admin assistant.

The ideal candidate will be highly creative and excellent with trend forecasting to deliver a commercial range. You will have excellent supplier relationships to improve margins and profit growth for your product area. You will be highly organised and have a very high attention to detail.

In return, the company offers a salary of £35,000, employee discount, pension scheme, and enhanced maternity leave. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work from the office four days a week and one from home.
