Junior Butler

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Butler to join their private household. Working alongside an experienced Butler, the right candidate will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of private service, with the opportunity to progress running smaller guest services independently.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a prestigious private household.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with breakfast, lunch and dinner service for up to 18 guests
• Serve refreshments and elevenses during shoot days
• Prepare barista-style coffee and assist with wine service
• Maintain the wine cellar and stock levels
• Turn down guest bedrooms
• Assist with guest valeting when required
• Drive family members and guests
• Learn all aspects of butler service under the guidance of a Butler. (Gun care is excluded due to licensing requirements.)

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about hospitality and private service
• Professional, discreet and well presented
• Flexible, organised and eager to learn
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential

Working Pattern

• Approximately 4-5 days per week, depending on bookings
• Flexible rota with advance notice of working days
• Shoot days are typically Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
• Weekend work required on occasion
• Two consecutive days off where possible

Salary: £35,000gpa
