The Team
The U.K. & Ireland are our domestic and most mature markets. Functions include commercial, operations, and marketing. Teams in the UK&I work closely with global functions such as product, technology, and consumer to deliver results for our customers.
The Regional UK and Ireland team is responsible for driving Deliveroo's performance across all 4 nations of UKI. From Brighton to Belfast, we are experts in the local markets we serve. As part of this team, you will sign up the best restaurants in your city/region. This presents a significant growth opportunity, and we are building a team of commercially savvy, entrepreneurial, and ambitious individuals to help us realize our potential.
The Role
We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Greater London team. This is a unique opportunity to become a key member of a rapidly growing tech company. You will liaise with South East England's most esteemed restaurants, cultivating relationships and helping them increase online sales. This role is ideal for a personable, outgoing individual who enjoys relationship building.
Please note: A valid driving license and a car are preferable, as travel within areas like Leatherhead, Epsom, Crawley, Horsham, Bracknell, Wokingham, and Camberley is expected.
This role involves significant travel and outdoor work, so comfort with being on the road is essential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining and growing relationships with restaurant partners through strong communication, both face-to-face and remotely.
- Driving restaurant performance via data analysis and industry insights to maximize order volume and growth.
- Negotiating contracts and partnership terms.
- Collaborating with operations teams to enhance efficiencies.
- Working with marketing to accelerate restaurant order growth.
- Innovating and presenting ideas to increase growth and operational efficiencies.
- Becoming a local industry expert and the face of Deliveroo in your city.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in account or relationship management.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, face-to-face, phone, and email.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and successful negotiations.
- Experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment is a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and hardworking.
- Ability to work independently while meeting restaurant partners across South England.
- Additional language skills (Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Bahasa/Malay) are valued.
