OBIS is seeking an individual consultant to assist with the coordination and management of two European projects related to the development of eDNA data workflows and their integration into the European and international digital infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Review existing workflows related to eDNA data management.
2. Report on best practices in the field.
3. Plan for a standardized system that can be adopted across different monitoring structures, leveraging available resources.

Context: eDNA analyses are increasingly used for management and monitoring purposes. However, there is a need for standardized data management infrastructure across Europe.
