JKM/LNG Broker

We are currently seeking an experienced JKM/LNG/Japan Power broker to work closely with the existing Gas desk to continue their expansion into new markets. The current desk comprises a team of 8+ brokers covering TTF & European markets generating strong revenue and flows.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, customers, suppliers, producers within the JKM, LNG, Japanese Power markets.
• Monitor and stay updated on market trends, supply, demand and geopolitical movements within the JKM, Nat Gas, LNG, Japan power markets to generate precise market reports.
• Offer customer centric execution and brokerage services across the derivative markets (Futures, Swaps, options).
• Work with senior management on growing the LNG/JKM and related markets utilizing customer relations and desk flow generated from the Nat Gas business unit.
• Attend industry events / conferences acting as the face of the business to develop and secure a name within the sector for the business.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience brokering LNG/JKM/Japan power within a IDB/FCM or similar organisation.
• Excellent knowledge of Global Gas / LNG markets with the ability to produce Market / Pricing reports for customers and third parties.
• Experience executing derivative trades (Futures, Swaps, Options) across the JKM markets.
• Personal customer portfolio across both Corporate & institutional clients within the LNG / JKM / Gas / Japan Power markets.
• Located in London (UK) or ability to relocate.
