This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *supporting the migration of a PCI DSS-compliant credit card storage system to the AWS cloud*.

About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Java Software Engineer with strong AWS experience to support the migration of a PCI DSS-compliant credit card storage system to the AWS cloud. You'll work on secure, scalable systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Back End services using Java.

• Ensure code quality with testing and refactoring.

• Monitor app performance and handle deployments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

• Collaborate with team members to design and deliver solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong Java or Scala experience.

• AWS expertise (5+ years) - including CloudHSM, KMS, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, VPC, API Gateway, WAF, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.

• Experience with Kafka, Hibernate, MySQL, Kubernetes, and Grafana.

Nice to Have:

• Fintech experience.

• Familiarity with Gen-AI coding tools.

Other Info:

• Preference for candidates located in the Netherlands.

• On-call rotation may be required.
