This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *building and supporting a Financial Data Platform that delivers reliable data and insights to various departments*.

About the Client

Our client is looking for a skilled Java Software Engineer to join their Business Intelligence team. You'll help build and support a Financial Data Platform that delivers reliable data and insights to various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Back End services using Java 17, Spring Boot 3, Kotlin, and Dropwizard 3.

• Work with service mesh solutions (eg, Istio) and manage cron jobs.

• Build and maintain data pipelines, models, and BI tools.

• Translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Support production systems and resolve issues.

• Train users and collaborate across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with Java (JVM), Spring Boot 3.

• Experience with Kotlin and Dropwizard 3.

• Knowledge of service mesh tools and cron job scheduling.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
