Java IAM Developer - PingFederate Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity with a leading Financial Services client in Amsterdam for a highly skilled Java Developer with deep experience in PingFederate and identity federation technologies.

This role is ideal for someone who bridges the gap between robust Java backend development and the implementation of secure, scalable identity solutions using the Ping Identity suite.

You'll be part of a technical team driving the design and development of identity federation solutions, working hands-on with:

• PingFederate and PingAccess
• Custom adapters/plugins (built in Java)
• Secure token flows using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML

This is not an infrastructure or operations-focused IAM position it's a true development-heavy role, requiring a strong coder who understands the intricacies of authentication, federation, and enterprise security.

Your experience:

• Proven Java development experience - building scalable backend systems in real-world environments
• Strong hands-on experience with PingFederate: creating and deploying custom authentication and token adapters
• Expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and federation protocols
• Familiarity with identity security principles and secure API design
• Solid troubleshooting skills, particularly in distributed systems
• Bonus: Groovy scripting experience for PingFederate scripting needs
