Job Description

Contract: Initial 6 months
Location: Edinburgh (on-site once per sprint, flexibility under discussion)

Rate: £450 - £475, Inside of IR35

Overview

We're looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a high impact public sector Project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical services, working with modern technologies in a collaborative environment.

Key requirements
  • Strong Java expertise (Java 21+, Spring 3).
  • Experience with NodeJS/Express, MongoDB, and AWS Cloud.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI), Docker, and Git.
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka, microservices, and containerisation.
  • Prior government project experience highly desirable.
