Do you have a passion for crafting innovative software solutions? My client, a global leader in specialised software for the transportation industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer to join their dynamic team.

In this hybrid role (2 days per week in Birmingham), you'll play a key part in developing and maintaining cutting-edge applications, particularly within their aviation business unit. You'll collaborate with a talented technical team to design, implement, and improve existing and new software, directly impacting the global transportation planning and design community.

What you'll be doing:

• Inventing new software solutions to solve complex engineering and architectural challenges.
• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing existing company products.
• Working closely with product management to define software requirements.
• Contributing to all phases of the agile software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Assisting customer support, sales, and marketing teams with technical expertise.
• Driving continuous improvement within the agile development process.
• Collaborating effectively with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
