Java Developer - Inside IR35

A Java Developer with experience in the financial services sector is required for an initial 12-month contract. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week on-site in Northampton and is inside IR35, requiring work via an FCSA-accredited umbrella company.

1. Financial services experience
2. Build solutions for Distributed computing platform (MOTIF) using Advanced Java, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, BPM, JMS, and in-memory computing
3. Work in an Agile development environment to deliver features
4. Collaborate with geographically dispersed global teams for communication on critical features and issues
5. Coordinate with leads and QA teams on UAT builds and sign-offs for business use cases
6. Develop unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, and SonarQube to enhance code quality
7. Manage CI/CD pipelines in TeamCity and resolve build issues
8. Create UNIX and database scripts as needed during development
9. Participate in project and scrum calls to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution
10. Partner with PCIT and IB Design Authority on technical topics and incorporate them into deliverables
11. Provide knowledge transfer, training, and mentorship to junior team members
